Lansa, family left due to FCID probe? Featured

Deputy minister Nimal Lansa and his family have reportedly settled down in Australia after leaving the country for around a month ago.

He was expected to return on February 08, but had not turned up.

Lansa is one of the key organizers of CHOGM hosted by Colombo, and is accused over financial fraud relating to the event.

The FCID investigation into the fraud might have made Lansa to leave the country, reports say.

He had amassed wealth during the Rajapksa regime, but most part of it is under the name of other persons.
