India conveys concerns over H’tota port handover!

India has conveyed its concerns to Sri Lanka through diplomatic channels over the serious threats to its national security due to the agreement to handover Hambantota port to China, a senior minister in the government told Sri Lanka Mirror.

Meanwhile, ports minister Arjuna Ranatunga has sent a letter to the head of the ministerial committee on privatization Sarath Amunugama expressing his opposition to the draft agreement.
