All Muslim members of parliament have warned of strong action if the government fails to act against the recent racist attacks targeting mosques and Muslim businesses, BBC Sandeshaya reports.

The Muslim ministers and MPs had a meeting at posts and Muslim affairs minister Abdul Haleem’s office and decided to send a letter to the president calling for action to halt these attacks, said MP Mujibur Rahman.

Just like during the previous regime, several attacks targeting mosques and Muslim businesses occurred recently, he said.
