Sri Lanka and India reviewed the entire scope of defense cooperation

Sri Lanka and India reviewed the entire scope of defense cooperation between the two countries while expanding its areas of interests.


This was the outcome of the fourth Annual Defence Dialogue (ADD) between India and Sri Lanka held in Colombo recently, Indian High commission in Colombo revealed. During the meeting, both parties lengthily discussed defence matters of mutual interest and bilateral importance.

Indian Defence delegation, led by Indian Defence Secretary Shri G. Mohan Kumar participated at the 4th Indo-Sri Lanka Defence Dialogue at the invitation of his Sri Lankan counterpart Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi in Colombo recently.

High Commissioner of India to Sri Lanka YK Sinha, Sri Lankan Chief of Defence Staff, Army and Navy commanders, senior officials of both defence ministries and military representatives of both parties took part at the annual meeting.
