Bond Commission recording of evidence concludes today

The recoding of evidence by the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate the Central Bank Bond scandal will formally conclude today.

The President of the Commission however, said that if required, the Prime Minister would be summoned before the commission.

Sri Lanka Mirror reported this morning that the Presidential Commission of Inquiry appointed to investigate the Central Bank Bond scandal had concluded its activities and had commenced the final report to be submitted to the President. Based on the facts and decisions of the Commission, the Attorney General is preparing to file a charges by December.
