Too many cooks spoil SL youth cricket team's chances Featured

The young players participating in the ongoing Youth world cup cricket matches currently being worked out in Sri Lanka are disheartened due to the interference of too many consultants, according to inside sources.

It is reported that the team is subjected to the advice and instructions of nine consultants, which is affecting their performance.

Roy Dias is the main trainer, Ravindra Pushpakumara, fast bowling coach, Ajith Ekanayake, spin bowling coach, Hashan Tillakaratne, batting coach, Nelson Mendis, special coach, Nick Pothas, fielding coach, Mahinda Halangoda, Manager, Mahinda Uduwarella, schools representative and Chandra Rodrigo team in charge.

Sri Lanka won the match against Nepal with just one run, this too in the final over.
Had Sri Lanka lost that match against Nepal, the chances of making it to the semi-finals too would have been in jeopardy.
