Ram Nath Kovind, India's new President?

Ram Nath Kovind, the Bihar Governor has been picked by PM Narendra Modi led BJP as the NDA nominee for the upcoming presidential election scheduled to be held on July 17.

Kovind, a B.Com, LLB from Kanpur University (Uttar Pradesh) has been a very successful lawyer and is currently serving as the Governor of the Bihar province.

Born in 1945 in Uttar Pradesh Kovind is currently 71 years.
He has also served as the Secretary to former Indian President Morarji Desai.

According to Indian political analysts Kovind will definitely become India's next President.

Current Indian President Pranab Kumar Mukherjee will complete his term in office in July.
