Published

on

The National Building Research Institute (NBRO) said the impact of air pollution on Sri Lanka will gradually decrease.

The NBRO said the level of air pollution reported today shows a significant decrease compared to the level reported in Sri Lanka yesterday.

Due to the increase in air pollution in India, along with the low pressure in the Bay of Bengal, Sri Lanka suffered from an extremely severe level of air pollution yesterday.

The medical doctors urged the people to stay indoors as much as possible, as inhaling the polluted air can sometimes even lead to death.
