Sri Lankan impose ban of several Apple computers Featured

Sri Lankan Airlines has banned several models of Apple MacBook Pro computers onboard their aircrafts, it is reported.

The reason for this ban is said to be that several outdated MacBook Pro 15 inch computers pose a danger of their batteries overheating and exploding.

It is reported that this ban is on MacBook Pro computers manufactured between September 2015 and February 2017.

Sri Lankan has notified its passengers to have their MacBook Pro computers checked for safety by an Apple store prior to flying. All computers which have not been checked for safety would not be allowed onboard, the airline issued notice.
