Speaking to 'Sri Lanka Mirror' he said he recently met with a high ranking officer of the CID who had asked him to come tomorrow (08) to lodge a complaint.
Meanwhile, he had requested from the bank to give him a letter containing details of the discussions that took place between him and the bank on this incident.
However, Mr. Fernando had declined to accept the document sent to him by the bank as it contained erroneous details.

Meanwhile, the NDB has also requested to obtain information of a mobile phone number registered to Mr. Fernando's National Identity Card, which is actually the mobile number used by Mr. Fernando himself.
This has been revealed after Dialog Axiata had sent Mr. Fernando a letter, requesting his consent to provide details and information requested by the bank.
However, before making such a request from Dialog Axiata, the bank had not sought Mr. Fernando's consent to do so.
Upon contacting Mr. Hemaka Balasuriya - the General Manager of Retail Operations, Group Service Delivery at Dialog Axiata, we were told the bank had not made such a request.
However, the letter from Dialog Axiata, bearing the signature of Mr. Balasuriya, is as follows :
