State Minister for Consumer Affairs, Lasantha Alagiyawanna stated that there is nothing he could do about it, though the price hike is unfair.
A bill to raise the fines is still awaiting parliamentary approval and as such, no action can be taken against the arbitrary hiking of prices, he added.
