Dhammika Perera's brothers evaded taxes in millions! Featured

It is reported that two brothers of the leading businessman - Dhammika Perera, have evaded taxes amounting to Rs. 575 million due to the Inland Revenue Department.

Ironically, Dhammika Perera is the Advisory Committee Chairman recently appointed to assist the National Economic Council.

This tax evasion is committed by Mr. Perera's brothers - Kuruppuarachchige Don Anuradha Perera and Kuruppuarachchige Don Harindra Perera, who are both directors of Bally's Pvt. Ltd, located at No 34, D.R.Wijewardana Mawatha, Colombo 10.

The Commissioner General of Inland Revenue has informed the Colombo Magistrate of this, on a day after July 24, 2020.

Legal action is sought as per the casefile No. GL - 2078.
