According to the requirement, IOC would be provided the relevant bowsers, reliable sources at the Petroleum Storage Terminal said.

Meanwhile, Managing Director of Lanka IOC Manoj Gupta said that the issuing of tokens at the LIOC fuel stations has been suspended based on several issues that arose.

He noted that while they may not be able to meet the high demand, IOC would do its best to supply the fuel requirement.

Gupta further stated that currently LIOC is distributing fuel throughout the country, including the export sector.
