Litro Gas has increased prices with effect from today (04)
The price hike is as follows :
12.5 kg cannister increased by Rs. 343/- to Rs. 3,470/-
5 kg cannister increased by Rs. 137/- to Rs. 1,393/-
2.3 kg cannister increased by Rs. 63/- to Rs. 650/-

Litro to announce revised gas prices today
Litro Gas Lanka Limited said that this month’s revised LP gas prices will be announced today (04).
Due to the increase in gas prices in the world market, the Litro Gas Company increased its gas prices from the midnight of September 04.
Accordingly, the price of a 12.5 kg domestic gas cylinder, which was Rs.2,982, was increased by Rs.145 to Rs.3,127.
The price of a 5 kg gas cylinder was increased by Rs.58 to Rs.1,256.
Meanwhile, the Power and Energy Minister assured that the electricity tariffs will not be increased again.
However, Ceylon Electricity Board United Trade Union Alliance General Secretary Ranjan Jayalal said the people will be further affected if the authorities keep increasing the tariffs.
