Reports say that the government has decided to increase the price of lottery tickets to Rs. 40 from next month.
However, the All Ceylon Lottery Sellers’ Association says that no agreement has been made to increase the commission of lottery sellers.
Chief Secretary of the association – Mr. B.S.S. Marasinghe says that they will withdraw from lottery sales from July 07, unless the commission is increased.
