Following the directives of the Ministry of Commerce, Food Security, and Cooperative Development, Lanka Sathosa has announced a price reduction on several essential commodities.
The revised prices will be effective from today (Jan. 30) across all Lanka Sathosa outlets nationwide.
The new prices are as follows:
Imported big onions: Reduced from Rs. 230 to Rs. 220 per kilo
Wheat flour : Reduced from Rs. 175 to Rs. 165 per kilo
White sugar : Reduced from Rs. 240 to Rs. 235 per kilo
Red lentils : Reduced from Rs. 288 to Rs. 285 per kilo
Imported red lentils : Reduced from Rs. 210 to Rs. 209 per kilo
