The existing Special Commodity Levy of Rs. 65 imposed on a kilo of imported rice has been reduced to one rupee.
Accordingly, an Extraordinary Gazette has been issued by the Ministry of Finance, reducing the Special Commodity Levy with effect from Jan 02 – 21.
