Trishaw fares not to be revised

The Three-wheeler Owners Association says that Three-wheeler fares will not be revised until fares are specifically regulated through a regulatory authority.

They point out that three-wheeler fares cannot be amended in view of the monthly revision of fuel prices.

The remarks have been made after fuel prices whichwere revised with effect from midnight yesterday (July 31).

The price of Laugfs domestic LP gas cylinders will remain unchanged for the month of September.
Accordingly, the maximum retail price of a 12.5 kg domestic cylinder is Rs. 3,680 and 05 kg cylinder is Rs. 1,477.

Ceypetco has announced that fuel prices will be reduced with effect from midnight today (Aug. 31).

Petrol Octane 92 reduced by Rs.12 to Rs. 332, Octane 95 reduced by Rs. 2 to Rs. 377, Auto Diesel reduced by Rs. 10 to Rs. 307, Super Diesel reduced by Rs. 3 to Rs. 352.

Meanwhile, the price of Kerosene remains unchanged.
