Beyoncé gives birth to twins

Pop queen Beyoncé has given birth to twins in Los Angeles, reports say.

The singer, who is 35, and her partner, the rapper and music producer Jay Z, already have a five-year-old daughter, Blue Ivy.

Queen B’s father, Mathew Knowles, has since confirmed the birth on Twitter, posting a celebratory card reading: ‘Happy Birthday to the twins! Love, Granddad.’
