‘Speaking Tears’ to be screened on Nov. 30 Featured

A documentary by journalist Manoj Ratnayake about a Tamil schoolboy abducted by a Navy group will be screened at the auditorium of Sri Lanka Press Institute in Narahenpita from 4.00 pm on November 30.

Titled ‘Speaking Tears’, it surrounds the mother of Naganathan, whose family once ran successful businesses at Kotahena, Colombo.

She prays to gods every day for the return of her son who went missing nine years ago.

Naganathan had been 21 and educated at an international school, he aspired to be a doctor.

On 17 September 2008, a day before he was to leave for England for medical studies, he was abducted at Dehiwala.
