The film was produced by Prasad Wijesuriya and Directed by Sumith Kumarage.

The cast includes Dananjaya Siriwardhana, Udari Warnakulasuriya, Nethu Priyangika, D.B. Gangodatenna and many others, while Dananjaya plays the role of Aladin.

The film ‘Aladin and the magic lamp’ is based on the Arab story, while special effects are included in the film using modern technology.
