The final rites of late veteran Sri Lankan actress – Ms. Udula Dabare, is to be held at the Mattegoda Cemetery tomorrow (Dec. 28) at 5.00pm.
She was 87 years old.
Entering the Sri Lankan cinema through a minor role in the famed ‘Kele Handa’ film, she acted in a host of films from 1956 – 1970.
Ms. Dabare later worked as the Public Relations Officer at the National Lotteries Board.
Meanwhile, the final rites of veteran actor Rex Kodippili, is to be held in Colombo at 4.00pm today (Dec. 27).
