Veteran songstress and film actress Seetha Nanayakkara has passed away yesterday (05).
Ms. Nanayakkara, a mother of three, was 85 years old at the time of death.
She acted in many films including Asoka (1955), Dingiri Banda (1956), Age Vairaya (1998) and sang the songs ‘Owa Obe Mage Sudu Aiya’, ‘Me Shantha Wu Raa Kalaye’, ‘Heladiva Pipi Kamale’, ‘Matath Horen Ma Hada Senehe Wada’ and ‘Ada Devuram’.
