President Ranil Wickremesinghe has appointed 10 Ministry Secretaries and two Provincial Chief Secretaries a short while ago, and their appointments will be effective from Jan. 01, 2024.

- Ministry of Public Administration, Home Affairs, Provincial Councils & Local Government – Mr. W.P.P. Yasaratne
- Ministry of Irrigation – Mr. Saman Darshana Pandikorala
- Ministry of Education – Mrs. Wasantha Perera
- Ministry of Justice, Prisons & Constitutional Reforms – Mr. M.N. Ranasinghe
- Ministry of Wildlife & Forest Resources Conservation – Mr. Gunadasa Samarasinghe
- Ministry of Environment – Mr. B.K.P. Chandrakeerthi
- Ministry of Power and Energy – Dr. Sulakshana Jayawardena
- Ministry of Transport and Highways – Eng. Mr. Ranjith Rubasinghe
- Ministry of Technology – Dr. Dharmasri Kumaratunga
