Welgama criticizes Mahinda’s remarks
Meanwhile, JO MP Kumar Welgama has strongly objected to what Mahinda Rajapaksa has told the Indian media.
Speaking to Neth FM, the MP said family politics was inappropriate and that that was just the reason for Mahinda Rajapaksa’s defeat at the last presidential election.
He said Maithripala Sirisena had come forward to contest as the Rajapkasa regime did not give him the place due to him, adding that he was uncertain if another Sirisena would be created in the future.
