He said talks are underway to recover the losses from those who are responsible for the damage. A group of Parliament Engineers are currently assessing the damage caused.
The Deputy Speaker also noted that measures would be taken to initiate disciplinary action against parliamentarians who acted in violation of parliamentary ethics, adding that once matters are resolved such action would be taken.
It is reported that video footage of the recent unrest in parliament would be viewed by the authorities and the speaker would commence the investigations.
During the disruptions in parliament the stand where the Maze is placed and several microphones in parliament were damaged, but they were restored prior to yesterday’s parliament sessions.
