The United Peoples Freedom Alliance (UPFA) boycotted today’s parliamentary session as well as the party leaders' meeting.
Meanwhile, the UNP had decided to not to go ahead with a motion that was supposed to be taken for vote today with UNP MP Ajith P. Perera citing the president as to saying that he will withdraw the dissolution gazette before the motion.
