Sasidaran defends rehabilitated LTTEers Featured

Former northern provincial council minister Anandi Sasidaran alleges all rehabilitated LTTE members are being blamed after a few of them were arrested in connection with the recent murder of two policemen in Batticaloa.

Speaking to the media in Jaffna, she said the rehabilitated LTTE members cannot lead normal lives due to the allegations and the ensuing investigations against them.

Sasidaran’s husband was the political leader of the LTTE for Trincomalee and Vavuniya and had been unaccounted for since the final days of the war.
