12 fmr. ministers yet to vacate official residences

The Ministry of Public Administration said that 12 former ministers have not yet handed over their official residences to the government.

According to a senior official from the ministry, preliminary inspections of these residences have been completed.

The inspections covered household items and assets belonging to the official residences.

The ministry has informed the former ministers to clear all utility bills, including water and electricity, before handing over the residences.

The ministry also emphasized that they would only accept the residences without any outstanding dues.

The senior official mentioned that the former ministers have been notified to hand over the official residences by tomorrow.

Failure to comply with this deadline may result in legal action.

The total number of official ministerial residences owned by the government stands at 28.
