The Kollupitiya Police have arrested 13 employees of Milco (Pvt) Ltd for allegedly locking up Milco Chairman and SLPP Administrative Secretary Renuka Perera at the head office of the company.
The chairman was taken out with the intervention of the police.
Mr. Perera was appointed as the Milco Chairman when SLPP Founder Basil Rajapaksa was the Minister of Finance.
Mr. Perera was the Chairman of the Housing Development Authority and he was also the Chairman of Litro for a few hours during the SLPP administration
