Mahinda, Douglas & Thonda to visit India on 8th Featured

It is reported that the Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa will leave for India on the 8th February.

Reports further state that he will hold talks to find a solution to the fishermen's problem.

During the discussion with the Indian Prime Minister, it has been decided to pay close attention to resolve the Indo-Sri Lankan fisheries issues, reports say.

Both Indian and Sri Lankan fishermen are arrested annually for violating territorial waters.That has been a problem for both countries.

Ministers Douglas Devananda and Arumugam Thondaman are to accompany the Prime Minister on this visit
