Anoma fighting tooth and nail to retain Donald Featured

Ranaviru Seva Authority chairperson - Anoma Fonseka is reportedly taking special pains to ensure a service extension to Dr. Donald Kumara Sri Jayawardena, who was recruited to the Authority under a contract basis.

His tenure is to expire on March 10.

It is said that Dr. Jayawardena was recruited to his current post after amending the qualifications needed and reports say that Mrs. Fonseka had even changed the newspaper advertisement calling for candidates.

'Sri Lanka Mirror' learns from Ranaviru Seva Authority sources that Mrs. Fonseka is attempting extend Dr. Jayawardena's tenure regardless of six qualified candidates already having applied.

Sources add that Mrs. Fonseka had also spent the better part of yesterday (07) at the Presidential Secretariat to secure the service extension.
