PCR tests on all arrivals at BIA

Measures have been taken from today (01) onwards to conduct PCR tests on all passengers arriving from overseas at the Bandaranaike International Airport in Katunayake.

The decision was announced by the minister of Tourism and Aviation Services Prasanna Ranatunga at a media briefing today.

He said measures will be taken to hospitalise or quarantine such arrivals, depending on the results of their PCR tests.

He also said that the repatriation measures of Sri Lankans would continue.
