Will continue to fight against Geneva resolution - Sarath Weerasekera Featured

Rear Admiral Sarath Weerasekera, who received the highest number of preferential votes from the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) in the Colombo District, says that he will continue the fight against the Geneva resolution which is accusing Sri Lanka Army of war crimes.

He further stated that the Geneva resolution will be presented again at the Geneva Human Rights Council in March 2021 where they will continue their fight with the support of the new government.

Weerasekera said that the approval of President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa's program by the people and giving him power was a serious defeat for former UN official Yasmin Sooka and the LTTE Diaspora who are plotting against Sri Lanka.
