3 opposition MPs to crossover?

Three parliamentarians representing three minority parties are engaged in talks to join with the government, reports say.

These MPs, who are currently senior members of the opposition, have reportedly agreed to back the new constitutional amendment.

One of them has demanded a state ministerial portfolio while the other two have requested to develop the  provinces they represent.

Currently, the government wields the backing of 150 (2/3) MPs. Excluding the Speaker, the number falls to 149.

It is said that the government is initially planning to secure the backing of these 03 MPs and that of several others afterwards.
