Covid-19 cases from 21 districts

Covid-19 cases have been reported from across 21 districts said the Ministry of Health on Wednesday (14).

Ministry spokesperson - Dr. Jayaruwan Bandara said if the general public continues to comply with the guidelines issued by health authorities, the spread of the coronavirus can be controlled and prevented.

Sri Lanka passed the milestone of 5,000 Covid-19 cases after 194 new cases were found yesterday (13), bringing the total number of cases discovered so far to 5,038.

According to the situation report of the Epidemiology Unit issued at 8.30pm yesterday (Oct. 13), there are 1,697 patients under medical care, 3,328 recoveries and 13 fatalities at the moment.

The Minwangoda Brandix cluster, which is the largest cluster found in the country so far, is currently at 1,591.
