Former Western Provincial Councilor – Salochana Gamage and Dushanta Dinesh Ratnayake,have been further remanded until Jan. 27.
The duo was produced before the Colombo Chief Magistrate’s Court today (Jan. 17).
They were arrested while allegedly accepting a bribe of 9 million rupees to facilitate compensation for a plot of land in Torrington Avenue, which had been handed over to the Urban Development Authority.
