The National Child Protection Authority (NCPA) has arrested a 20-year-old yesterday (24) who had allegedly raped a 15-year-old school girl in Morawaka and shared nude videos with several persons on Whatsapp.
Police investigations have revealed that the suspect had raped the girl 11 times inside her own home.
An investigating officer stated that after the girl’s parents left home for work, the suspect had come and raped her, recording it on his mobile phone.
He had then circulated the videos among his friends via Whatsapp. A copy had also reached the phone of the Principal of the victim’s school.
The NCPA had taken steps to refer the victim girl to a children’s home and present the suspect before the Morawaka Magistrate Court.
