The Polonnaruwa Magistrate has ordered to remand 201 inmates in connection with the violent incidents that took place at the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre.
Rehabilitation Commissioner General Major General Darshan Hettiarachchi said that 514 inmates were taken into custody by the security forces following the incident at the Rehabilitation Centre.
Meanwhile, it was reported that another 30 detainees are still missing.
