The Ambassador has passed a PCR test prior to his flight and will enter self-quarantine for 02 weeks.

Considering the current difficult situation in the island, ambassador Qi has politely refused all receiving arrangements at the airport except for only a minimal number of diplomats from the embassy, to avoid any trouble to Sri Lankan friends, sources from the embassy say.

Ambassador Qi is expected to issue a written message to the Sri Lankan public after his arrival.
