One more dies as 439 Covid-19 cases today (Update) Featured

One more Covid-19 death has been reported raising the number of fatalities to 74.

The victim is a 70-year old male resident from Colombo 02. He had died at the Colombo National Hospital.

Meanwhile, a total of 439 cases of Covid-19 have been found today (Nov. 20), pushing the total number of infections to 19,280.

435 of these new cases are contacts of the Peliyagoda cluster.

Accordingly, the Divulapitiya - Peliyagoda cluster has grown to 15,765.

Covid-19 cases pass 19,000 mark

220 cases of Covid-19 have been found today (Nov. 20),pushing the total number of infections to 19,061.

They are all contacts of the Peliyagoda cluster.

Accordingly, the Divulapitiya - Peliyagoda cluster has grown to 15,550.

According to the situation report of the Epidemiology Unit issued at 07.45pm today (Nov. 20), there are 5,717 patients under medical care, 13,271 recoveries and 73 deaths.
