Rupee stabilised against the USD – CBSL Featured

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka says the Lankan rupee has stabilised against the US dollar.

The CBSL said last week the selling rate of the dollar had crossed the Rs.194 mark.

However, the selling rate of the US dollar yesterday was Rs.189.80 while the buying rate was Rs.184.98.

According to the Central Bank the rupee depreciated by 2.6 percent against the US dollar last year.
