UNP WC approves new posts

Several appointments were approved at the Working Committee of the United National Party held today (13) at Sirikotha.

  • Assistant Leader - Akila Viraj Kariyawasam
  • General Secretary- Palitha Range Bandara
  • Chairman - Wajira Abeywardena
  • Treasurer - A.S.M. Misbah

The WC meeting commenced in the morning under the patronage of leader of the UNP Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Although the WC was to discuss the National List Parliamentary seat of the UNP, no name has been announced yet.
