UK arrival suspected of having new Covid-19 variant  Featured

For the first time, an individual suspected of being infected by the new Covid-19 variant from the UK, has been identified in Sri Lanka, Deputy Director General of Health Services - Dr. Hemantha Herath says.

The individual has come down from England and tests are underway to ascertain whether he has contracted the new variant, he added.
