Kiriella Divisional Secretary arrested for sexual harassment Featured

The Kiriella Divisional Secretary who was arrested on a charge of sexual harassment has been released on Rs. 200,000 bail.

Police Media Spokesman DIG Ajith Rohana stated that the suspect was arrested following a complaint lodged by a Divisional Child Protection Officer at the secretariat.

The child protection officer had lodged a complaint with the Kiriella Police on Jan 15th and the arrested suspect was produced in court yesterday (19).
