Issuing a statement via his official Facebook account, MP Ranawaka stressed he also attended the Executive Committee meeting of the SJB held yesterday.

The MP explained that while it was asked during the meeting whether he plans on continuing his future political activities directly with the SJB, he had responded positively by stating that he and his group expressed their fullest agreement to continuing their journey with the party.

Accordingly, the MP said the Executive Committee had stated he would be informed of responsibilities which will be vested with him in future.

MP Patali Champika Ranawaka therefore stressed that those who have failed to understand these facts are circulating various false claims via social media.
