Ranil to enter parliament next week ; Opp. leader to change? Featured

After several months since the General election, the United National Party is to fill their vacant MP seat next week, reliable sources say.

It is also said that UNP leader Ranil Wickremesinghe will most probably be the one who will swear in as the relevant Member of Parliament.

Meanwhile, 'Neth News' has reported that MP Rajitha Senaratne and his son Chathura Senaratne have recently met Mr. Wickremesinghe to discuss the formation of a united opposition front.
