Around 25 – 30 ships that have arrived in Sri Lanka have left due to delays in container clearance, Deputy Minister of Ports and Civil Aviation – Janith Ruwan Kodithuwakku has said.
Kodithuwakku said this during an inspection visit to the Orugodawatta RCT yard yesterday (Jan. 15).
Recently, President Anura Kumara Dissanayake had met with Customs officials, who had agreed to work round the clock to resolved the issue.
