The MP is said to be wanted by the police on a complaint received regarding an alleged incident of sexually abusing an underage girl.

The suspect has fled the area, police said.

The girl was staying with her parents in a house belonging to the suspect MP and when no one was at home, the man had come and sexually abused the girl, police said.

The girl's parents have lodged a complaint with the police regarding the incident.
