Easter attack suspect dies in hospital

The Borella Police have informed the Colombo Chief Magistrate's Court that a suspect who was remanded in connection with the Easter Sunday attack has died while receiving treatment at the Colombo National Hospital yesterday (4) afternoon.

The deceased has been identified as 42 year old Salli Mohammed Kalin, a resident of Church Road, Kalmunai.

He had been admitted to the Prison Hospital on November 23rd and had been transferred to the Colombo National Hospital on December 05th. The police had notified the court that he had died while receiving treatment.
